Based in Blair Atholl, the Atholl Estates Ranger Service operates throughout the Estate. Assisting visitors in their understanding and enjoyment of the area, and also play a role in countryside education and conservation. They manage 9 waymarked trails for walkers and cyclists on the estate.

The Ranger Service runs the Atholl Estates Information Centre in Blair Atholl village, close to the gates of Blair Castle Caravan Park. This features a display on the workings of the estate and offers some activities for children. The centre is open from 9.00am to 4.45pm daily, between Easter and October.

14 and 15 May - Celebrating Nature Festival
Celebrating nature in the Cairngorms National Park. Join us in Blair Atholl for woolly woods, Bogtastic, making bird feeders, the photo post challenge , black grouse lek safaris and more.

Join the rangers and staff from the Cairngorms National Park to find out more about our amazing bogs. How they work and the stories they hold.  BOOKING ESSENTIAL.

13 June - Beaver Tracking

A walk through from Braemar to Glen Tilt. 15 miles with a river crossing. BOOKING ESSENTIAL. Meet at Blair Atholl, drive to start at Braemar included.

2 July - Save the Small Cow-wheat
Join us to look at wild flowers and to carry out some bracken control to help conserve the very rare small cow-wheat. BOOKING ESSENTIAL. 6 mile walk and light physical work. Bring lunch.
